Dicta Magazine

We’re a distinctive legal publication run end-to-end by students at the University of Bristol. We aim to provide a unique perspective on the law; saying the things that otherwise go unsaid.

Dicta was founded in 2013 with the objective of diversifying legal journalism and founding a community of inquisitive minds. Since then, we’ve published eight editions, written 224,000 words, commissioned 87 illustrations and interviewed top legal minds including Baroness Hale and Gina Miller.

UBLC members have the opportunity to join the Dicta Editorial Team each year. Stay tuned for updates on the next edition.
