The UBLC’s Diversity Pledge
Recognising the rule of law means recognising that diversity and inclusion are critical, ensuring that every individual receives fair treatment and equal opportunity. At UBLC, we recognize that diversity and inclusion are not merely aspirational ideals, but foundational principles that inform all aspects of our work. Fair treatment and equal opportunity are not optional but essential to the integrity of our society. As Cicero stated, “the good of the people is the greatest law”. Guided by this, we operationalise it through our policies, embody it in our practices, and affirm it as central to who we are and what we stand for as a society.
The process of putting these words into action is laid out below.
