About Celeste...

Celeste Tolentino is a third-year international undergraduate LLB student from Singapore. Celeste is the Director of negotiation for the University of Bristol Law Club (UBLC). In her capacity as Director of negotiation, Celeste heads the negotiation competition sub-committee which organises UBLC negotiation competitions.

Fascinated by the concept of negotiation and dispute resolution, Celeste is committed to a future career as a practicing solicitor. After attending internships back home in Singapore, she is particularly interested in alternative methods of dispute resolution such as meditation and arbitration. Prior to university, Celeste completed a diploma in Mass Communication where she took a module on business negotiations and participated in her first negotiation competition.

Having made the finals of the in the UBLC CMS negotiation competition in 2018, Celeste believes that negotiation allows law students like herself to develop a myriad of skills which will prove invaluable in the future. Having been part of the negotiation sub-committee in 2019, Celeste hopes that she will be able to continue to increase awareness of negotiation competitions and encourages everyone interested to take part.
