About Nikita...

Nikita Goklani is a second-year law undergraduate and the current ‘Diversity and Inclusion Officer’.  Coming from an ethnic minority heritage, Nikita is determined to ensure that all members of the UBLC, regardless of background or circumstance, are given equal opportunities to become successful students and better versions of themselves.

Alongside her role on the UBLC committee, Nikita is also keen on participating in programmes offered  the University’s ‘Women in Law’ Society and ‘Black Asian Minority Ethnic’ Society, so as to widen her understanding and further facilitate her efforts in her role.

Furthermore, Nikita also participates in programmes offered by other organisations such as ‘Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer’ and plans to work with these, as well as other societies within the University, in order to benefit our members.

The UBLC, awarded ‘Most Committed to Diversity’, is dedicated to ensuring that all of our members are represented and included, regardless of their background or circumstances.  This is an initiative that Nikita is wholeheartedly excited about and committed to nurture beyond it’s boundaries.
