About Giulia...
Giulia Giarola is a second-year Law and Spanish student. Giulia is Italian and moved to the UK 7 years ago. In Sixth Form she decided to pursue a career in law and proceeded to undertake work experience at Field Seymour Parkes in Reading in Year 13, where she worked in Dispute Resolution. Giulia also took part in the Herbert Smith Freehills First-Year Scheme in March.
In her role as Intervarsity Officer she is keen to set up new intervarsity competitions against other universities and organising the 5th Annual Intervarsity Mooting Competition, this year also including debating. Giulia is passionate about debating, being runner-up of the UBLC First-Year Competition and having reached the Semi-Finals in the Hunt Cup. She was also involved in the Intervarsity day against the University of Exeter, where her and her partner won their debate.
Outside of her studies Giulia enjoys learning languages, playing the piano and volunteering.
