About Jaron...

Jaron Goh is a second year undergraduate law student from Singapore and is the Press Secretary of the University of Bristol Law Club. In his role as the Press Secretary, Jaron manages the society’s social media platforms, web-maintenance, marketing, and acts as the preliminary spokesperson through Facebook.

Jaron's passion lies in corporate law, chiefly due to his upbringing where majority of his family members are employed in the financial sector. Prior to university, Jaron undertook a diploma in Information Technology where his practice is exclusive in social media analytics. He also has a wide range of professional skillset gained through his employment in the creative industry as a photographer and videographer, as well as military experience through his service in the Republic of Singapore Navy’s Naval Diving Unit. He has also previously interned at Singapore’s oldest law firm, Donaldson & Burkinshaw as well as Streathers Solicitors in London over the summer of 2019, both of which are in the corporate and intellectual property department.

Pursuing his passion in maintaining a healthy lifestyle, Jaron has competed as an athlete in various competitions in bodybuilding as well as powerlifting. He also holds the position of Vice-President in the University of Bristol’s Muscle and Athletic Sports Society.

Jaron is looking forward to having a great year with the University of Bristol Law Club, and promises to do his best in his role as Press Secretary.
