U.S. Law Firm Week

A series of exciting events throughout the week, including our opening 'Demystifying US Law Firms' presentation and US Panel events to allow you to make competitive applications to US firms.

This event, hosted by US corporate law firm Sidley Austin, addresses all the perceptions that students often hold about US Law firms and attempts to demystify myths. Followed by networking drinks at a local bar, this evening is a perfect opportunity for you to learn more about the emerging breed of law firm on the UK scene - US Law Firms. 

This panel-style event invites US law firm partners to answer questions from students about life at a US law firm. Starting with set topics for each partner to discuss, such as working hours and small trainee intake, the floor will then be opened to questions from attendees. Followed by networking drinks, this event is the perfect opportunity for students to get an introduction to US law firms.

This event provides an exclusive opportunity for 16 students to have breakfast in the London office of leading US firm, Dechert. Students will also take part in an Open Day . This is a perfect opportunity for students to experience the culture in a US firm.
