About Tabitha

Tabitha Candy is a third year Law LLB student and is Vice Director of the University of Bristol Law Club’s Negotiation Competition Committee. In her role as Vice Director, Tabitha will help lead and support the rest of the committee in the organisation of the various competitions and events throughout the year.

Prior to university, Tabitha worked at the international law firm Pinsent Masons as a Legal Support Coordinator during her gap year. She is committed to a career in commercial law and has participated in many negotiation workshops at law firm schemes and open days. Tabitha also competed in the First Year CMS Negotiation Competition and won the Junior Negotiation Inter-Varsity against Warwick University in 2017. She finds negotiation extremely stimulating and entertaining as well as necessary in providing individuals with vital skills requisite for aspiring lawyers.

In her second year on the Negotiation Committee, Tabitha hopes to build on the success of the competitions from previous years with a new focus on raising awareness of international negotiation competitions this year.
